Magkababata sina Andres at Samantha at di maikakailang mahal nila ang isa't isa. Ganunpaman, nahulog ang loob ni Andres sa ibang babae na nagdulot ng matinding sakit at pighati kay Samantha. Makalipas ang ilang buwan ay napagtanto ni Andres na si Samantha pa rin ang mahal niya pero hindi niya ito sinabi kay Samantha. Unti-unti niyang binabalik ang lalim ng kanilang pagkakaibigan subalit nagkaroon na ng takot si Samantha na buksan ang puso niya dahil hindi lang siya ang masasaktan kundi ang kaniyang kaibigan na si Belle.

Halos sampung taong kinimkim ni Samantha ang pagmamahal niya kay Andres bago dumating sa buhay niya si Edward na muling nagpatibok ng kaniyang puso.
