Layla is an ordinary 15-year-old. She is a nobleman's daughter and her parents expect her to marry young to a rich man. She is perfectly happy to spend life as a Duke's wife, but one morning, while on her daily ride, she is snatched by a Dragon. such things are the stuff of legend, but now Layla has to fit in with the Skyriders, a race of warriors that ride Dragons. They believe that she is the Skyborn, the one who will lead them out of hiding and into a war with the Landwalkers, the people Layla came from. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.

So read at your own risk, the story is decent, but it's fast and not the best put together.

I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
