"Meg?" Thomas walked up to me, "What is it?" I still couldn't speak, my eyes only leaving the reflection of the words to look into Thomas's. I let go of my hair so that it fell back into place, covering my tattoo. Thomas nodded, almost as if I had reached out to him in his mind, but I didn't. He walked behind me, placing one of his hands on my waist as the other lightly grabbed my hair, sliding it to one side.
