When Lily, a transgender girl, is kicked out of her home, she meets Max, Jessica, Tyler, Morgan, and Alex: a rag-tag group of LGBT teens who have also left their homes. Together, the six friends face the challenges of living on the dangerous streets of Chicago, encountering violence, discrimination, rape, drugs, and more horrors of street living. But soon enough, they begin to realize that they can't live like this forever. And rebuilding a life will be harder than they could have ever imagined.
