The NSCO (National Space Colonization Organization) sent a group of four Astronauts to Mars to start a colony of humans.  Things go terribly wrong and only one man survives, Dr.Hughes. He survives with a secret, a new experiment, to keep him company.  Almost 20 years later, a second group of astronauts land to continue the mission. Leo, a young astronaut stumbles upon the doctor's experiment and learns of the horrible secret that has been hidden on mars for all these years.
