Fifthteen-year-old Beatrice Brennan loved three things in her life more than anything.
Her mother, the team at the Jeffersonian Institution, and bones, human bones if we're being exact.

Unlike any normal teenaged girls Beatrice is familiar with death, murder, and human bodies. She has to be if she wants to be just like her mother. World renown forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan.

Her life was perfect...well perfect as it can get. Good grades and finishing high school in a year, her mother and her being extremely close, a loving team that's like her family, and a passion for giving justice to people who were killed. But what happens when an FBI agent Special Agent Seeley Booth is thrown into the mix. Asking her mum for help in a new murder investigation. If she was going to help then her daughter was too.
A new crime solving trio.

Lethal Wound

9 parts Ongoing Mature

Forensic anthropologist Madeleine Carter has spent years uncovering the truth hidden in bones, but this time, the truth might just get her killed. She's a genius. A prodigy. Years ahead of her peers, with a mind sharp enough to pull secrets from the dead. Where others see fragments, she sees the full story. When her latest case makes her the target of an unknown enemy, the FBI assigns her a bodyguard. "Orlov" as they call him --a man whose past is as deadly as the threats against her. Orlov is silent, calculating, and entirely unreadable, and while he's meant to keep her safe, something about him feels just as dangerous as the forces working against her. ***** forensic anthropologist: Identification of the deceased. [she basically studies the bones] ***** "You know, for someone who spends so much time with the dead, you might want to learn how to tolerate the living" *****
