Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. All until the day the little girl walked out in front of the truck.

I decided not to specify hair, skin or eye color and any other detail because it is an x reader, you can identify yourself in the protagonist as you wish. Don't attack me if the girl's figure is slim, it's just a generic model to indicate a generic girl, so PLEASE don't tell me it's body shaming because it would have been the other way around too. You don't have to identify yourself in this body, I'm sorry in advance. ~ The Nen will be specified in the story, I had to choose it personally because it will be important later on and it has a moral and psychological meaning that I invite you to find. ~ I follow the plot of the anime throughout the story, but when I switch to the events of the manga the plot is no longer the same as you find, because I don't want to do spoilers and some changes are needed for the development of the story. ~ There are scenes of sexual abuse (not explicit) and murder, if it bothers you or you are very sensitive, do not read this fan fiction, because the scenes mentioned are fundamental for the unfolding of the story. ~ English is not my first language.
