Ruth is a fourteen year old helpless orphan, who just got dropped in an 
orphanage after her aunt died. She has a lot of family left, but no one 
is ready to adopt her. Not bothering much about the rather common way 
her parents died, in a car accident, her life couldn't get more boring.

But then she meets Olivia. A wandering spirit who has no clue about her 
past. Olivia and Ruth instantly become friends and promise on protecting
 each-other. Finding out about their pasts, discovering new secrets, 
being enemies with Downworlders, and finding out her long lost twin, 
will Ruth be able to take it all in?

The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery. There's ghosts around every corner in this house, and if we don't figure out what's wrong here, we might just become the next ones.
