[Co-written by thewatermaine] Geoff Wigington and Awsten Knight are both enrolled as full-time students at New York University because their parents wanted them to have a college education. Neither of the boys is really interested in any of their classes except for Music. One class they hate in particular is their Media Law class. Both boys are failing and don't seem to have any interest in bringing their grades up until they meet the tutors that they've been assigned to, Claire Brinley and Abigail Rhine, who suddenly become their biggest motivators for coming to class.

Geoff Wigington is a fairly reserved punk kid who although has been through some shit, still manages to shut up and sit tight - unless of course, you're being an annoying prick. The first time the two collide isn't the meet-cute that everyone in teen movies dream of, involving an extra-large slurpee, a pleated skirt and a giant bruise. However, instead of the original choice to just ignore and push past it, they're forcibly re-acquainted through a class project that accounts for 20% of their grade. Maybe overtime they would mutually agree that one another isn't so bad - or maybe they wouldn't.

Elle Wright leaves her home city after a painful breakup, escaping to the other side of the world, desperate for a change of scenery. She didn't know that her new start would include becoming best friends with her idol. The two of them are finding their feet, learning to be alone again, and in that, they find comfort in each other. Though, they can't help the overwhelming feelings that after their respective heartbreaks, they may never bloom again.
