The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Ashville used to be such a friendly and calm town, it all went down hill the moment a vampire walked into it; followed by a demon. After that.. Ashville became the city of hell, that's how most of us saw it. The vampires fed and turned humans, the demons would tear flesh from the humans and if they felt like it. They would turn humans as well. Sadly, I was one of the unlucky ones; I was forced into the life of immortality after watching the demon kill my parents right before my eyes, I begged to be killed; but instead.. I was laughed at, and left in the house while my parents body parts surrounded me. Ashville used to be my home, where I felt safe.. now? It was a living nightmare.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.
