I'm a ghost hunter. Yes, kind of like what you see on television, but not quite. Amateur investigations are actually very different (and much more real) than what is shown on those overly-produced paranormal shows. In this book, I explain what we do, how we do it, and why we do it, all while stressing the fact that logical and scientific investigation is the proper way to do it.
I will discuss things like orbs and why they aren't paranormal, sleep paralysis and how it is often mistaken for something paranormal, the ethical way to treat ghosts, some of the equipment that we use, the (mostly negative) impact of shows such as Ghost Adventures, and what to do if your client is a crackhead.
Also, I will include a detailed description of each ghost hunt I've gone on, explaining the evidence that we captured, and things that were heard/seen/felt during the investigation.
I have so much passion for the paranormal and the quests we take part in to find out more about it, which is why I've composed this book.

Bury A Friend
Ghost aren't real. And chics this cute don't tell you they are. It's the reassurance I told myself, which mostly didn't work cause it was a straight up lie. This book doesn't have effervescent, long haired fairy's or stoic vampires that smolder and fight. More like a judgmental grumpy teen weed dealer named Zach, who shamefully talks about himself in third person like this. And you won't find some grand quest up a mountain or into an unknown land rich with magic because I have asthma and no time for that shit. And lastly, there will be absolutely no hideous romance where instantly the girl of my dreams sweeps me off my feet. I get on her nerves far to much for that. Finding out I'm part of ancient group of mediums tasked with cataloging, fighting and cleansing ghost you would think has some upsides. But so far all that comes with it is cold chilled air that gives me the sniffles when they're around. I'd like to say by the end of this book I'll have conquered the monster and won over the girl, but as you read you'll learn that's far to much faith in a screwup like me. This book won't be for everyone, hell people die in it. But the good news is that if I die at least I'll be around, floating off of the pages to haunt you in your home. Actually that sounds like bad news so perhaps try and finish so you know if you have a ghost . *This story contains themes of suicide, sexual content, drug use and mature language. 🎶Look up the Bury A Friend playlist on spotify to play the songs at every number.🎶Complete

"Listen, if I get possessed, at least let it be by someone tall and emotionally unavailable." Elara Sturniolo just turned 20, runs a YouTube channel called Ghostly Curious, and has a reputation for chasing ghosts in crop tops and eyeliner sharp enough to cut through demonic tension. She's hot, haunted, and a little too comfortable flirting with spirits. When Sam and Colby invite her to collab at the Stanley Hotel, she packs her spirit box, her sarcasm, and her serious good looks- to meet with four boys who are even more sarcastic than she is and maybe just a tad bit hotter too-who are we kidding that's not true. "Are you always like this?" "Unapologetically? Yes." She's never worked with a group this chaotic: Jake touches cursed objects. Corey screams before the ghosts do. Sam asks the ghosts how they're feeling. And Colby? Colby watches her like he's trying to figure her out-and Elara hates how much she wants him to. "You flirting with the spirit again?" "He called me pretty through the EMF, Colby. Let me have this." "Seriously, how do you stay so calm when the ghost stuff goes sideways?" Elara shrugs, "Because freaking out ruins the eyeliner. Priorities, Colby." "Do you think ghosts judge your outfit?" "Only if they're ugly." "And the spirit box?" Elara taps it with a grin. "My favorite way to ghost-flirt. It's like sending a text, but spookier." "Why do you even do this?" Corey asked, voice cracking after a shriek echoed down the hallway. Elara smirked. "Because hot girls get haunted. It's the price we pay." Colby leaned closer, voice low. "You're impossible to read. How much of this is you, and how much is the act?" Elara grinned, eyes flashing. "Honey, I'm always the act. The ghosts just keep the show interesting." and the show was just starting. (Colby Brock x Oc)
