"I need you to be the put together one because I'm so fucked up. You've saved me." He whispers. "Carter, we saved each other." I mutter looking at him through my eyelashes. I lean into him, our lips not even an inch apart. "Sophia we shouldn't..." He looks hesitant. "Please, I need you." I almost started crying. "Please." I mutter one more time, my eyes begging for him. My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind. She just wants to finish her final year of high school, numb to the world, while learning to cope with the trauma she's endured. Carter Marquez. In which two ex-step-siblings reconnect after just about blowing up their family the first time around... Three years ago, Maddie fell hard for Jacob Isaacs, the smartest boy in her school. The only problem was this: Her dad had quite literally gotten engaged to his mother. The two tried to dampen the flames of their burgeoning attraction for each other but not before they got caught and were the talk of the town for months. After the fall out, Maddie moved away to try and start her life over and not be known as the girl who got caught doing it with her 'brother' at prom. She hasn't seen her family in ages and intends to keep things that way. Jacob, on the other hand, has worked hard to accomplish everything he's ever dreamed of. He's stayed close to home, done exceptionally well at school, and is adored by just about everyone who meets him. There's only one problem: There's a Maddie-shaped hole where his heart used to be. But no matter how hard he tries to reach out and find her, he can't. She won't let him. He let her down and gave up on them when she needed him most. And she's not ready to forgive and forget. But then Maddie's dad passes and she's forced to come home for his funeral. It should be a quick visit. She intends to make it one. But Jacob has other plans. He let his girl slip through his fingers once and he won't let that happen again. So now he has to convince her to give him one more chance. After all, they're not related to each other anymore.

(hi! it's been a while since I wrote this book, probably like 4 years, and I wanted to rewrite it and was hoping you, guys, could leave some suggestions about whatever you'd want added to the story, removed or simply modified. the updated chapters will be posted in continuation of the ones already up and as I'm finished writing the story I'll delete the old ones. you can also leave suggestions for who you want to be casted as Kylie. you can either leave your suggestions in the comments of this a note or along the book chapters as you read it or you can message them to me.) "Like my mother used to say, 'I'm a predator. I don't have to be a killer.'"-D.H. Kylie is your regular teenage girl, but who hides an immense secret. What happens when her secret comes out? How will it change her life? One thing is sure, her life will take an unexpected turn that she never thought about. She'll fall in love, she'll experience betrayal, she'll learn new things about herself and her past. By the end, she's going to be a completely new person. Season 4 Disclaimer: These are my ideas. I own the plots that I've added to the original script. I also own Kylie Hale and the other characters that I've added and any other additional changes to the original plot. Sorry for the grammatical errors and if the plot is really twisty. I'm working on getting it better. I'm beautiful, I'm rich; I'm every guy's dream. In other words, I am perfect and I'm not afraid to flaunt it. But that's only what they tell me. I can't remember anything after the accident. I lost every memory I ever made, every thought I ever had. I was in a coma for five months and when I finally awoke in that sickeningly white hospital, no one would tell me anything; not even the black haired boy that scrambled to find a nurse as I moved for the first time in almost half a year. No one will give me the whole story and no one will tell me the truth. But I'm determined to figure it out because it's my life and I need to know who I was before the crash. The only problem: I don't know if I want to.
