A strong scent hit my nose as soon as I stepped foot into the clearing in the woods where the mating ball would be held. The scent was either one of two things.
Either someone made delicious cinnamon rolls that I would soon have in my stomach.
OR!
I smelled my mate.
I really hoped it was the first one. Cinnamon rolls are the best. And since the Moon Goddess absolutely ADORES me- note the sarcasm- I realized I was sadly mistaken as the scent got stronger and everyone around me instantly dropped to a bow.
Escorted by Andrew and Julian themselves, out of the woods came the Werewolf King's 3 children.
Before I could process what was going on, a pair of green eyes pierced into my blue ones and a single word turned my blood cold.
"Mate,"
