It was here that the book was supposed to end, the story complete, the bad guy beaten, and the heroes triumphant forever.
How short the victory truly was.
Hardly a week had passed, and the ghosts of GLaDOS' past refused to rest, driving her mad with thoughts and feelings that eluded her by inches.
She needed peace, needed to know what her past was trying to tell her, and she'd need very specific assistance from a very specific person to do so.

From Subject to Hero

37 parts Ongoing Mature

While her purpose is to test and she still wishes to do so, GLaDOS found that many of the test subjects kept within Old Aperture were long dead or at risk of dying as soon as she took them out, and with Izuku as her last remaining subject in New Aperture, she decided to let him bring her to the outside, her last piece of humanity, discovered by the mute Chell centuries ago, wanting him to live his life, and the side which only wished for testing to see what these 'Quirks' were that had appeared. Join them as they become heros and prove why Aperture's technology is superior to anything else. OFA is given to Ejirou Kirishima. Nothing used in this is mine.
