"Didn't you know? The most terrifying monsters in life are the ones who walk among us." It was never easy living in a fucked up world of uncertainties. But the tides turned upside-down knowing that Castellone Signo had the power in him to control...words. Castellone Signo thought he lived a stereotypical and predictable normal life. Then, he decided to take a stroll one day and saw something that could build up a commotion. Trying to predict the outcome of it, he whispered. No one ever expected that something would hear his call, bringing life to his words. It caused a terrible accident which no one would ever suspect him of doing. Despite the power in his commands, there was only one person who could evade and counter his words through a demonstrative gesture, a kiss. Abrielle Lecsas was bound to turn him over to the underground institution that sheltered the gifted with unusual abilities. But none of them could have thought of the outcome the longer they stayed together. The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)
