Nothing was the same after they entered the woods. It was supposed to be an experience they'd never forget, but in a positive way. Seeing their grandparents after years and visiting their house in the woods was supposed to bring them together.
Now after Mason had been thrown into the Unknown, he has to fight to survive and trudge through hell to find his family.
No one is safe.

It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming.
