There was a teen girl named Yuka(meaning depressed flower in japanese), She isn't a normal happy cheerful teen girl's around her age, she is depressed and always negative.
The reason for that is she grew up with no parents, they died when she was only 3 and from their she grew up with her aunt, she feels like her only friend is her ginger cat shoga(means ginger in Japanese),Yuka found shoga in the streets when she was 5 and ever since they both have been together.

A 14 year old boy named Fisher's best friend is his cat; Oatmeal. Oatmeal has always been with him and theres no sign of him leaving, but one day Fisher comes back early in the morning and gets in a fight with his dad. His dad throws Oatmeal out of the house and Fisher goes to find him, But Oatmeal isn't there, and Fisher will have to go through a lot to find him. While trying to find him, Fisher deals with not knowing who he is, and while searching for Oatmeal, he also searches for himself.
