Life for Aspen Rose Ellish has been nothing short of chaotic. She'd love to be the typical girl next door, the party girl, the cheerleader, the burnout, or the loner. But real life isn't as simple as any one label. The cheerleaders and the popular girls are not the same people, the girl with the 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance is stoned for most of her classes, and the most popular jocks play volleyball and basketball, but haven't touched a football in their lives.

I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. [ please don't read this. it's not terrible i guess but i keep it up for my ego and literally nothing else. please. ] claire definitely doesn't love teenage drama. who does? it's messy, and can get you in all sorts of complicated places. but somehow, she manages to get caught up into a whirlwind of drama every time, even if she doesn't want to, with her daredevil best friend bridget. she's a pretty good student, and her life is going fine. she doesn't really need a boyfriend or a crush, and she has good friends and good grades. you don't need much more than that in high school. but thats when bridget decides she wants to make moves on her crush, even if its anonymously. meaning, of course, she has to bring claire down with her too. and so when the popular best friend of bridget's crush asher comes up to her and accuses her of doing something she in fact did do, she is forced to tangle herself into the sticky web of teenage problems. which sucks, really, but she'll get through it. hopefully. maybe. © melloraie 2020Concluída
