After the attack at the theatre, in a reality where Jest was not accused of kidnapping Lady Pinkerton after returning from the treacle well, still as the court joker, Catherine is invited to a royal feast with most of Hearts nobility. Cath still has trouble trying to convince everyone about the future proposal from the King, and that she refuses to accept. But, is it possible her parents will realize that this is not her path, that she refuses to let this become her fate?

It is now my favorite book, but I have never cried more when I read the ending. So I'm going to heal our Heartless chests and make a sequel. We can't be heartless, that's Cath's part.
