Kyra is a mystery, abused, tortured, and yet she's the only one who truly understands the Voltron lions.
Kyra is part olkari, part Altean and part human, her grandpa was one of the main builders of Voltron, and he taught her all about it, and the space rock it's made of...
Kyra possesses a special power that only she has, a healing power and it's very dangerous to be known of. If Haggar knew of her powers she would be a threat to Zarkons reign. A threat that needs to be eliminated.
The Galra kidnapped her from her home planet, and she became a prisoner of war. They wanted her information and her families secret knowledge, but she never told any of it. Soon everyone forgot she even had hidden knowledge and she just became another prisoner. It was Haggar that accidentally caused powers appear in an experiment gone wrong. Haggar is the reason why she has become part galra tech.
Disclaimer- cursing, and some topics might be graphic about abuse and torture and my spelling sucks, it may be a bit confusing. This story also follows the theory of Shiro being a clone. Kyra is my own character

The Paladins of Voltron are missing, only Coran Shiro, and Princess Allura got out of that battle. The black lion was the only one to make it back to the castle. Then lions Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow where all taken with their Paladins. The green Paladin hasn't been heard from longest, Katie was separated due to her scientific mind and technological mind/ insight. The only thing know about her, is that she is never in the same prison too long. Keith was put in a cell only drones can access, due to his Galra roots. Lance is on the same ship as Keith, but in a standard cell, he is just trying to figure out a way to get him and Keith free. Hunk already escaped, and got his lion, he has been making a b-line for the Balmera and Shay. He was in the lowest security cell, so broke out pretty easily. The Galaxy has been searching for their heroes, the Paladins of Voltron, and they get closer every day. The Garrison have been trying to get in contact with the Paladins for years now, unaware that those who they need to rescue them, are the ones in need of rescuing.
