Travis McKinnon wanted nothing more than to do something useful.
So he used his animagus form, and agreed to Albus Dumbledore's offer:
Protect Neville Longbottom for fifteen years.
As a toad.

As Trevor.

But the spell only lasts fifteen years. And when Hedwig and Trevor turn back into Heather and Travis, they find that they have missed out on more than they anticipated.
But as they try to catch up with time, they realise that living as both an animal and a human was harder than most people believed.

And without each other, they would have never survived it.

This is their story.
