Science has always been humanity's friend. It is what inspired scientists and doctors to create vaccinations and cures for diseases. But what happens when it goes too far?
Eight unfortunate teenagers are kidnapped from Paris and taken to northern France to partake in a new experiment; health enhancers to boost human characteristics or give humans characteristics they might not have. Some side effects include nausea, moodiness, and exhaustion. They tried on older candidates, but it had some, consequences.
The experiment was supposed to last for a month in order for the enhancers to take effect. However, what happens when the enhancers take effect in only three days? Nothing good, that's for sure.All Rights Reserved

All of a sudden I saw another shadow flit across the street. I caught my breath but decided it was nothing, because I knew people would be out at 8 pm. I mean, it's not that late. Skylar grabbed my arm abruptly. "What was that?" My heart started pounding. "What?" Oreo started barking furiously. I looked around the street wildly. I couldn't see anything. Or anyone. "Aubrey," Skylar said. I glanced at her, silently communicating with her, and then we raced down the street. I heard footsteps behind us and ran even faster. We must be getting pretty close to the apartment complex by now. Suddenly someone grabbed my arm and yanked me back. I managed to scream before they covered my mouth with their hand. "Aubrey?" I heard Skylar cry in alarm. "Aubrey?!" I tried to get away from the person but he held me tighter, dragging me back down the street and towards an ominous-looking black car. I was being kidnapped. He is also the new boy at school that has an unadulterated hatred for her. Kyle is more man than boy, who has a cynical outlook at life, and a very black and white way of looking at things. As the school term ends and she graduates, Dayna finds herself having a very interesting summer filled with planning, strategizing, and an unknown attraction towards Kyle. In the end hard decisions will have to be made. But who will win? Dayna or Dayna?
