    Time 11m
Ongoing, First published Mar 17, 2014
This is it. Once I get off this plane, I will have the perfect year. Time to start fresh. My name is Virginia Davenport but people call me Ginny. I'm 17 and this is my final time moving. I'm a senior this year and I have the whole summer to make friends before I go to school. Gosh I hope they like me.

My family moves, like, every 6 months but this time, I'm staying the whole school year. I should be an expert at this, right? Making friends, it's practically my second nature, but that's where you're wrong. Every time we move, we go on this stupid vacation before I go to school; so I never get the chance to socialize. But you gotta start somewhere so I thought, why not senior year?

I wish there was an instruction manual on making friends because I have no idea what the hell I am doing. Trial and error. That's my only option. Here goes... my dignity. The whole football team is here to welcome me with banners. I should have probably worn something a little more flattering than a tanktop, jean shorts, hiking boots, and a messy ponytail stuffed into a baseball cap.

I feel the breath of air on the back of my neck. My limbs freeze and my breath catches in my throat. The male hands grab me by the hips. I can't move. His lips are by my ear, grazing the skin, his teeth tugging on my earlobe. His breath is hot on my skin, his lips moving down to my neck. My head tilts slightly. I shake my head. He doesn't have a weapon, I do. I turn in his grip, raising my bat. He catches the swing with one hand. He doesn't even flinch. "I wouldn't do that baby." His voice is like velvet, filling up the room. His lips are back on my neck, his tongue trails over the skin. The voice, the lips, are familiar. "You might mess up my pretty face." "Pretty face, my ass." I let the bat drop to the floor in-between the two of us. I should've known. "What are you doing here?" "Besides scaring you shitless?" "You didn't-" "Don't lie, I saw what you did to those poor hangers." *** It's a game of cat and dog. A game that's lasted four years. A game that expires in three short months. It's a battle of wits, of sarcasm, of teasing one liners, of sloppy kisses that may lead to more but nothing passed physical. It's a game with no rules. And they seem to be breaking them all. Thea Shaw and Ethan Michaels have a complicated relationship. One that neither wants to come to an end. But with college nearing and feelings developing what will come of their little game? He promises her one last summer of underage fun; parties, sunsets, long talks, sweet kisses, and no talk of college until it's time to leave. There are only two ways this summer can end. Either in each other's arms or the breaking of their hearts. #4 in New Adult [COMPLETED]

This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! I'm almost done with it, once I finish I'll watch the game don't worry." I assured the two of them. "Okay want ever you say." We left to go to the game finding a close-to-the-front seat. The three of us sat, we already bought some drinks and snacks. The game soon started and I began to read. "Player down!" Someone yelled as they ran a crossed the field. My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge.
