Katherine never intended to run away. In fact, she had planned to live out the rest of her regenerations on the beautiful planet Gallifrey. She had a future there. She had a life, and on that she was satisfied with, no less.

But a small part of her wanted more.

She just intended to look around. Step into a Time and Relative Dimension in Space and explore a bit. There's nothing wrong with daydreaming about traveling the stars. However...to this day, in the recount of the story, many ponder if it was face that she chose that TARDIS on that day. Because on that very day, a man decided to steal a machine and run away to explore all of time and space.

What he didn't realize at the time, is that the Girl inside accidentally ran away with him, and she never looked back. But the life of travel in the TARDIS with the Doctor is a dark one.

The tale of that journey...starts here.

23 parts Complete

"As suddenly as it came, the shuddering stopped. 'Ready?' The Doctor asked her, leading her towards the doors. 'I think so.' She replied and, taking that as confirmation, he opened the doors. Avery gasped as she realized they were floating above the earth. She marveled at the beauty. Meanwhile, the Doctor was looking at her. There was something about her beauty and wonder that made his hearts flutter, a feeling that he hasn't felt in a long time. This girl was really something." (I only own Avery and her story line. I do not own Doctor Who or any of it's characters. All original ownership goes to BBC.) (Season 1) (Book 1 in the Her Excellency series) [70,934 words] [COMPLETED, UNEDITED]
