The Darkness Approaches

This is a rewrite of The Connection, I guess. The storyline of this is very different, but the base of the story is still the same. You do not need to read the first one to understand this one.

A man stands in the dark alleyway, a smirk on his face as he palms a dagger in his right hand. He saunters over to the man he knew would be there, sitting on the ground along the hard, brick wall. He crouches down and presses the dagger to his throat, quiet as death. "Hello," he purrs into the man's ear.
