Ellie loved the idea of living in a beach house for the entire summer. Her city girl mother, however, did not. When her dad's business requires them to leave their cushy Brooklyn life for the beachy ways of a small town on the edge of Georgia, Ellie adjusts to the smaller lifestyle quickly. Soon she's spending her summer days in the glorious ice cream palor on the docks, making fast friends with the quirky staff and funloving manager. Add in crushing customers, late night bonfires, and a gorgeous beach, and it may just be the best summer ever. But when her mother doesn't agree with her easy adaption, her new life on the docks gets a little rocky. Will Ellie be able to make her mother see past the end of her own nose, or will this problem need a bigger solution than handmade sundaes? Copyright © 2014 chokingcrayons

Jordy feels like she has met the love of her life and everything is almost as if taken out of a fairytale, especially after Archer Finn confronts her about his own feelings for her. The only obstacle for a beautiful relationship to bloom is the fact that Jordy has to leave for university in exactly seven days. Oh, and the fact that Archer is notorious for his player tendencies and cannot be trusted. Can she wear her heart on her sleeve even if it's only for a week? ----- "You've had sex in a car, haven't you?" "I've had sex pretty much everywhere, baby." "Ew, gross." "Why do you think so? Actually doing it in the park isn't-" "I wasn't talking about this, I just really hate pet names. I cringe so hard every time a couple overuses a certain word, thinking it's romantic. It's not! Why is this even a thing?" "Wow, I never thought someone could be this cute while pulling a mom rant." "Shut up." I scrunch up my nose as if I'm offended but my cheeks redden nonetheless. "Okay, baby." ----- PG13: curse words, sexual jokes and innuendos, descriptive kissing scenes This book is planned to be short, sweet and easy to read! I dedicate it to all of my hopeless romantics out there :)
