It's been 15 years since the murders at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and Tyler has been trying to forget. His dad was the owner of Freddy's and its four animatronics. Tyler returns home from college on the anniversary that tore his town apart.
Curiosity leads Tyler and his friends back to the old pizza place where they find it hidden and sealed, but barely still standing. They discover a way inside, but things not as they once were, the animatronics have a murderous agenda. They also discover a fifth animatronic who has a golden secret.
