Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. This involves having to get involved with an evil organization that wants to destroy the world. Happiness will have to wait, since there is willpower that needs to be awaken.
