Katla was send to the land of the humans to complete the gods wishes. To watch after a ruthless warlord with eyes as blue as the sea and a soul as corrupted as Hades. She must keep him safe and alive, until the gods have decided to be done with him. Then she must kill him,as the wishes of her parents. But with her memory wiped clean and the ever so curious man determined to figure her out she can not help but fall deeply in love with him. Will she continue the wishes of her gods? Or will she betray them all for the love of one man and his family.
