Romance/ Adventure You know when you a forced to do something and you think its gonna turn out awful, but instead it ends up being the best thing that ever happened to you? My parents dragged me away from Northern California to La Jolla all the way down in SoCal for all of summer. My last summer with my friends to be exact. It was supposed to be the summer of a lifetime. Summer of my graduation full of fun parties and a sweet sappy summer romance before I go off to college, but, no, my dad had to pull me away from that because of stupid work. "Its just for the summer." He'd say, "You'll have fun." Yeah right dad. I have never been so sure that anything could suck more than this and been so completely dead wrong. My first day in La Jolla I come across Kian Sterling and his make-the-best-of-every-moment friends. He ends up turning my summer plans around completely. Here I am doing exactly what I wanted to do with my summer. Now I am not gonna say maybe that me and Kian maybe end up having feelings for each other to make you get antsy. I'm going to tell you yes, me and Kian definitely have feelings for each other, and yes it does turn out to be the best and craziest summer of my life.

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
