Society as a definitions means the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community. But as years progress, our community and world as a whole starts to fall apart. All of our problems are all amongst us, our society.
PREVIEW (CHAPTER 17 ~ RACISM) ~
"I am a woman of color," Amara tells herself in the mirror,"and I am proud." Amara never used to have to do this but now, she tells it to herself everyday. When Amara was younger, about 9, she heard her first racial slur. She had never heard of such a word. You see, when Amara was just a baby, she was adopted by a white family who never taught her about such things. They bullies called her names and teased her. Once Amara knew what those words meant, she started to wish things she never even thought about before. She wished she was like her parents. Her parents never got called those names. Her parents were white. One day, a stranger approached Amara. This stranger was named Felix. He told her that she was beautiful and to not listen to what they told her. Now, Amara believes that she is beautiful and that she should love herself the way she is.
Point: You are beautiful. Whether you are Black, White, Native, Hispanic, Muslim, etc. you were put on this planet for a reason.

In a world overrun by the dead, survival isn't just about skill-it's about trust. Amara Hangings and her best friend, Henry have relied on each other to make it this far. Whenever they are captured by a group, they cross paths with a stuck-up, crossbow prick named Daryl Dixon. Henry sees danger in Daryl. Amara sees something else. As they fight through this new world, an uneasy trust begins to form. But in a world where attachments are a risk, letting someone in could be the most dangerous choice of all. For Daryl, survival has always been black and white-until Amara proves that sometimes, the gray areas are worth the risk. ------------ This roughly takes place in the beginning of TWD. I changed the plot a bit to fit in more Amara x Daryl and to make more of a new plot while keeping the basics of the TWD season 1 plot. In this Daryl is late 20's- early 30's. I tried to keep in the character of Daryl Dixon as shown in TWD and what they have said in interviews. Enjoy! I DID NOT MAKE THIS CONCEPT. THIS IS A FANFIC FOR THE WALKING DEAD Hey, sorry this is discontinued. My love for walking dead and just Norman Reedus/Daryl Dixon has burned out. Cold Water
[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. Imagine a girl who at the age of thirteen is a drug addict. Now imagine that same person a few years later as a student at MIT... I believe 9 out of 10 people reading this will not be able to do so. It is not because you don't have a wild imagination, but because our societies have made our heads so biased to what they think is proper, that our heads get stuck to stereotypes and prejudices. Every other way of thinking seems wrong. But, there always are a few rebels. The rebels who define the world as they see it. The rebels who don't let others define them. The rebels who break the barriers. The rebels for whom the sky, is just the lower limit. But the people look at them from a sight of disgust. They forget that these people have not had a simple life.... Bring in that thirteen year old a drug addict who graduated from the top of her class at MIT. That, my friend is me, Louissa Marx... What happens when good people are put into an evil place? Do they triumph or does the situation dominate their past history and morality? P.S- Beautiful cover by @_brilliant . As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature".
