Stuck in a family of idiotic happy-to-go yet fiercely loving and protective Canada natives, struggling to get through high school without having his face caved into itself, dear Alex cant help feel hopeful at new chance of life when his family packs up and crosses the country to Los Angeles. There Alex hopes he can push down his desire for the same gender while focusing on his dream of becoming  a musical star. Yet while Los Angeles has one of his agendas down to the core, the other one, what Alex pushes so hard on, seems to tug him more and more into it.
