Fluent in Death

I'm what you would call a guardian, but to people like me, I'm referred to as a Custos. I found out I was gifted with the ability to see and live through the death of a person with a single touch, whether their death be murder or suicide. As a Custos, it is my job to prevent "Misfortunes" from happening. I'm one of the best at what I do, which normally would be something to be proud of, but unfortunately my success has attracted some horrible attention from some horrible people. I know this because one of my Misfortuners was found dead long before her death date, and I didn't see it coming. I need to figure out whose behind these deaths before it gets out of hand.
