This is a Marauders era Harry Potter novella. This story isn't very happy at first, but I have big plans on where this story is going! Disclaimer and trigger warning that some dark themes are introduced-especially at the beginning of the story-but that this is all necessary for character development and the plot. I do not take any of these themes lightly! 

I hope to upload a chapter every Saturday.

Lily Evans gets a second change in life to change her past and therefor the future of all those around her. The 22-year year old woman trapped in the body of her past self starts her first year at Hogwarts, but after a couple of months her memories of her past self start to fade. She gets more and more accustomed to her new life and soon forgets that she ever fell in love with James Potter or that her best friend will become a Death Eater. Good thing she wrote everything down in a journal that she will only open again after certain events have already unfolded. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all 7 years and one year after, during the war. I am sorry in advance for the alterations I made in this story that aren't aligned with the original story, but as you will soon discover it's way more interesting to change the timeline a bit and put Lucius Malfoy and Ballatrix Black in the same school as the marauders. (: Also English is my second language, so please keep that in mind while reading. I really enjoyed writing this story, so please enjoy (and also cry a little). I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era.
