(AU) With a new school and a mysterious past, Gerard Way tries to pass through his last year of high school unnoticed. But his plan terribly fails when he is partnered with the curious "bad boy" Frank Iero for a school project.

Gerard claimed to be as straight as a crowbar (wait... that's straight right?) and totally didn't have the hots for Frank. For gods sake, Frank was his bandmate, one of his best friends! Imagine the crap dating him would start! But that didn't matter anyways, since Gerard was, as he kept on repeating (gosh you guys are thick), as straight as a fucking lightbulb. And you know what? It's a real proof of heterosexuality to want to kiss your friend fiercely onstage okay? So that's what he decided to do. And that's exactly where our story starts. Frank thought Gerard was fucking hot (no homo though) and kinda wanted to kiss him (no homo though) and like.. fuck him (NO HOMO THOUGH). Actually though, he was openly bi, but like, he didn't want to date Gerard, where are you getting this from? Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him. Gerard has demons of his own and is shipped off to his Uncle's place in the ass end of nowhere to sort himself out. He can't imagine anything worse until he stumbles upon a punk kid who seems to have secrets of his own. Frank is determined to keep himself to himself, but Gerard is an annoying, nosy, pain in the ass, who, for some reason, Frank can't seem to get enough of. Will he eventually let Gerard into his life, and will it be all plain sailing for the two if he does? Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written.
