" Big arms had grabbed me, pilling me away from the people pushing and shouting. I cried for Mother who had fainted, I cried for Father and my brothers, I wanted this to stop. The big arms picked me up and I saw it was the man I had run into earlier, he hurried down the corridor to the kitchen.....The man stuffed a cloth in my mouth and shoved me in the sack. When I tried scrambling out the man kicked me again, this time in the stomach. Hot acid burned my throat as I began to vomit the remnants of the cake. I man said words I have only heard Father say when he was angry.........Why hadn’t they noticed I was gone? Why hadn’t they heard me? The man took the sack and swung me hard, hitting a wall my head smacked against it. My vision showed black dots and then everything became quiet and dark. And from that point on was the end of the life I had laid out for me, and the start of a fate worse then death."
