Heart of the Ocean

“Come on mommy!” I hear myself saying as I run to the beach. I turn to see my mother slowly catching up to me, smiling while I run to the ocean. I stop just before I am stepping in the path of the waves. Taking in the salty scent, I treasure my first memory of the ocean. It’s so beautiful.
