Gutes Hertz is a normal high school student. He has two very close friends, an overprotective brother, and a hardworking single mother. However, the one thing that he absolutely hates is love. He hates it so much that if he ever got a confession he would sever the ties with that person as quick as possible. So when he started to get a flurry of love letters, he burnt them all without even reading one. However, the situation got worse when he gets a letter that's not a love letter but a threat telling him to read the letters instead of burning them. Just what is going on?

They say you only fall in love once. For Ody and Mano, that once changed everything. In a world where love isn't always safe, and pain comes hand-in-hand with desire, two straight boys find each other in the middle of grief, trauma, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. Mano doesn't do vulnerability. Aggressive, tattooed, cold, and impossible to like, he plays the villain on purpose, because being hated is safer than being seen... and losing someone again would ruin him. Ody can't help but care. Bright, extroverted, charming and painfully sincere, he's the kind of boy who notices when you're hurting... even when you pretend you're not. He remembers your birthday, offers you the last slice, and apologizes even when it's not his fault. When their lives collide, nothing about them makes sense, except the way they keep gravitating toward each other. Sparks fly, but so do secrets, buried trauma, and a love neither of them is ready for. One of them hides behind silence. The other hides behind smiles. Together, they're wildfire. But not all fires survive the storm. The forbidden love between a broken boy and a lost one - a bond that refuses to break, even as the world tries to tear them apart. 🖤New chapter every Friday🖤 ! Nathaniel Jean's Senior Year

26 parts Complete

At first glance, nobody would be able to tell that Nathaniel Jean had a problem. Or second glance, or third, or fourth. After all, he had everything. He was a captain of his school's soccer team and one of the top players in the state. He had a big house and money to spend. He had family, he had friends, he had fun, he had faith. He never meant for it to happen. He never wanted to look at another man in the way he should have been looking at a woman. The idea had disgusted him for most of his life - living in a heavily Catholic town with heavily Catholic parents, homophobia was the only response he knew. That didn't change when he first realized that he didn't like girls. No, Nathaniel Jean was still homophobic. He hated the idea of a man sleeping with another man. He was raised on the notion that all gays went to hell, and he believed it. He despised them, and so he despised himself. Nathaniel Jean was more fortunate than most, because help did arrive for him. Help by the name of Lucas Morgan, they boy he'd always known but never known. The boy with big dreams and bigger talent. The boy that changed Nathaniel's life over the course of their thirty-six week long senior year.
