Corwin has lost his father and is living alone illegally in their home located on the Company Town. Owned by the mysterious Research Company his father worked for. In attempt to escape his reality he switches schools and starts to become detatched from those around him. Memories suddenly start to resurface of an old chilhood friend.

We all have that one friend locked away in memory. We wonder how they are. Do they think of us too. One person's friend comes into his life again. But things are not what they seem.
