Jack begged that this was just a nightmare, one he would wake up from and not have to worry about how much time he had left to smile and laugh with Mark. He wouldn't have to worry about how to tell his subscribers about the monster that took over his life. He wouldn't have to worry about Mark's eyes dulling ever so slightly with every day that passed.
