He thought of the man he'd loved. The man he still loved. He thought of the house he dreamt of having with him. He considered what would make it special for them. He pictured them dancing in their living room.
Then, he started to sketch his dreams, thinking of the story that would change his entire life. He attempted the home he wanted, and yet it wasn't perfect. It never was. Not for them, no. He stared at the blueprints for a long while before amending it to the customer's liking. That was his trick. This time; however, it was different. He started to remember their entire time together with simultaneous happiness and sadness.
This man's name was Pluto. He was known as such since elementary, and it was, for such a long time, matching with one other. Mars. Pluto and Mars. This, now, was a distant memory. One of love and loss.
