Monroe D'Carter moves from Georgia to California after losing her grandmother. The woman who raised her after her mother decided to give her up. Yet, everyone has their time here on earth and Monroe finally accepted that when her grandmother was called home. Now that she's beginning a new life, she experience things that she has to handle on her own because grandma isn't here to protect her anymore.
