Waking up on the side of a mountain with no memory of getting there is one hell of a way to get the day started. At least that's what Adylin thinks when that exact thing happens to her. She has nothing but the backpack she woke up next to, which might hold the answers to why she landed here in the first place. Faced with the harsh realities of the wilderness, Adylin becomes more determined to understand her circumstances. A few run-ins with wild animals and poisonous plants is enough to make anyone curious. But when more people show up on the mountain, Adylin realizes there is more going on than what meets the eye. Sure, one teenager on a mountain is weird, but multiple? As Adylin and the others start finding answers and their memories start to focus, they realize they only have one option: reach the top of the mountain or die. . . . This is based on many books and tv shows such as: the hunger games, the testing, and the 100. I would like to put this out before people call me out on it. Please don't judge I try to be as original as possible but sometimes similar ideas sprout from different sources.

It's a zombie apocalypse. The 3 siblings and a few other people they picked up have to try to survive in the wasteland with famine, lack of medicine, and of course, zombies. Why did this happen? Who caused this apocalypse to happen? Pretty soon they learn that the zombies aren't even much of a problem anymore, it is the consequences of the zombies. Lack of food, supplies and poor mental health kill more than bit marks.
