Emmy has a shady past that makes her life a living hell. The only way she copes is living with her life long best friend, Mark, an exotic dancer that keeps her sane with his insanity. Emmy never liked doing favors for her, now former, co-worker, but on the girls last day, she takes pity and delivers a package to a concert hall in her home town, where she meets the charming, handsome Danny.
Danny was having trouble dealing with the lose of his daughter and his wife after their death by a drunk driver. Then he ran into a woman with bright, copper red hair and soul-capturing moss green eyes, and a way about herself that makes Danny think maybe he can find love and start again. Something about her honesty catches his attention and soon his and Emmy's relationship becomes serious. But, when Emmy's self-disowned grandfather, Mathias, shows back in her life, Emmy is sent into a spiral of flashbacks from her abusive father.
Can she trust Danny with her secrets? Will he leave her when he learns of her dark past?
And can Emmy withstand the shock of finding out she's dating a famous singer from a world renowned band? Or will her own insecurities drive her way from Danny?
