Kumiko Okinagawa's father was in a famous band called Tenshi no Hikari; they split up when an unexpected death occurred to the leader, otherwise known as Hibiki Okinagawa, Kumiko's father. The death occurred when she was only 11 years old, and she promised her father to pursue her dream as a leading part in a band. She wanted to relive the feeling for her father and she made a promise. Years later at the age of sixteen Kumiko meets her father's friend from the band, Michi Mori; and soon discovers that his son Takumi Mori is the lead singer in the band kagayaiteru tsuki, and quickly becomes interested in joining. Much to her provocation, he's being arrogant while thinking lowly of her skills without even giving her a chance to prove him wrong. Will she be able to convince him otherwise and perhaps even fall in love?
