Skyla Mac is your typical "it" girl in school; with the perfect life, perfect friends, perfect grades, perfect relationship, perfect family, perfect this, perfect that.
Since that's how she is known, she plays it off like it's true. But people couldn't have been more wrong about it all.
Her boyfriend of 3 years, Ian Noel, is a complete douche. Her parents love her to death and want what's best for her, but they don't know the first thing about parenting. Her best friend, Hayden Rightson, is her only true friend. Her best friend's mom is who practically raised her from next door. Her older brother, Oliver Mac, is who used to look out for her the majority of the time, but he had been distant the past 2 and a half years. Only now is he starting to come back around. She's a straight C student, never seen an A in her life. She hates those cheesy teenage heart throbs, yet has posters of them all over her room.
Needless to say: she's a bit of a mess.
But that's all about to change... She leaves her boyfriend. Her best friend starts talking to her again. Her brother is back to his normal self. Her guardians are murdered? Her, her best friend and her brother are kidnapped?
