It's Lyn's eighteenth birthday. You'd think that it would be the best day of her life. But is it? Far from it. Her dad blames her for her mother's death from 14 years ago because 1) she looks just like her mother 2) her mother died on her birthday. Her father wants her out of the house by midnight on her birthday. And if she isn't out? She doesn"t want to find out what will happen. She has kept this secret in for all of her life. The secret of her mothers death and the secret of her abusive father. Will she keep this secret from her best frien, Beth? Will she be able to find a way to be saved out of the darkness that she has been in her whole life? Read my book to fine out. I know that this isn't the best introduction, but can you please check this out? :) WARNING: there will be awkward parts, not too much but still just so you are aware. I'll make it as minimum awkwardness as much as possible. And not in a gross way, just...awkward. So yeah, PLEASE CHECK IT OUT

[this was written when I was a young teen. I'm sorry] Just a Buckin fanfic. Also, my first story. It does have a happy ending. After a devastating fight on Christmas Eve, Chris left London and took refuge in his New York flat. He thought that this Christmas was gonna be his loneliest, that he wouldn't have anybody with him to share his thoughts and feelings. He thought that he deserved to die. He was wrong. Through a series of almost impossible incidents, he rediscovers forgotten memories and their significance in shaping his life, with the help of a mysterious green eyed lady. Thousands of thoughts cloud his mind, and hundreds of feelings sweep over him. The pain becomes unbearable. But every cloud has a silver lining. Everyone has a reason to live. Will Chris find his reason? Read on... (TW: Mentions of suicide, drug and alcohol usage, hallucinations, fighting and physical harm)
