He wants to spite Lucifer with Naamah’s beauty, to show the Queen of Demons and Hell that she isn’t the most beautiful among their kind. 
Naamah sees this as a chance to leave her mundane life and go to something greater, a place where she’ll be respected, not feared or lusted over, but before her father can find a suitable body to come onto the earthly plane to retrieve her himself, she falls in love with a boy. When Asmodeus comes for her, she’s torn between staying with the mortal she loves, or going to Hell with her father, where he has promised to find her a greatly respected and worshipped demon groom.All Rights Reserved
