Every year around october a child from ages 13 to 19 disappears. No one knows where they go or who is taking them. Families fear october and lock their children inside so that they cant be taken, but at the end of october someone is missing and never seen again. Keira, a 17 year old girl who has never been a girly girl and grew up doing races with her brothers, fears this day and gets pulled into something far bigger than she could have ever imagined.
