Because of you is about a 19 year old young woman that goes by the name of Rain Johnson, 4 years ago her boyfriend, Jermaine, died in a shootout, running around in gangs & shit till one nigga finally popped his ass, it was all out of jealously. The nigga who shot jermaine, wanted to be with rain, but she wasnt having that shit so he did what he had to do. Diamond, Rains best friend tries to hook her up with her ex, Kentrell. At first Rain goes against the idea because of the simple fact that kentrell is diamond's ex.
